Brandywine Evening at Kuerners Print — Andrew Wyeth
Andrew Wyeth captures the essence of twilight at the Kuerner Farm in this exclusive reproduction. Painted in 1970, there are few studies for this emotional picture because that was the year that Karl Kuerner was very ill. Andrew would go over there every evening to watch the light in the window burning late into the night. That light in the window, which is pure paper, seemed to represent Karl's flickering soul.
