Alexander Hall Gold Plated Ornament by Design Concepts

Design Concepts by Joan Ellis

This ornament is from a series of Princeton historic landmark ornaments. These beautiful gold plated solid brass ornaments are certain to become a treasured heirloom.

Alexander Hall was designed by William Appleton Potter in Romanesque Revival style and built in 1894 through the generosity of Harriet Crocker Alexander. This stately granite and brownstone building has served as a convocation hall, interim chapel, lecture and concert hall, and was used for commencement for many years. Richardson Auditorium, created in 1985, was the gift of David A. Richardson ’66 in memory of his father, David B. Richardson ’3. It is one of the East Coast’s great concert halls and is home of Princeton University Concerts.
